Big Sims 3 News!

Ahh the excitement of newly found Sims 3 information! Now it may not all be pretty, I'll admit to you I've already heard one simmer call the Sims in Sims 3 "Scary dollish looking creatures with beady eyes". Yes okay...it might have been me. Any who this article is not about the opinions, its about that facts, the information, everything we've found so far about the Sims 3. There is however no guarantee that opinions will be left out. But, firstly I must say this, I can't contain myself... some of the captions for the pictures, and even the quotes in the original article all this information is being taken from are a tad... disturbing to say the least. If you ever see the actual article, you'll understand what I'm saying. Actually, you won't even have to read far into the first paragraph to understand what I'm getting at.
Anyways, moving along to the point of this article...Sims 3 seems to have eliminated the "taking care of sims". It seems needs are no longer something to worry about. With the click of your mouse, your sims' needs will be complete for the morning. No directing them anywhere so it seems. Does this make the game more or less fun? You decide. One thing I personally find neat is the way they incorporate work into sims lives. Work is no longer something that never seems to affect the home life, your sims will have to take some jobs home! Hey, whatever makes the boss man happy a suppose.
Now lets take a quick look aside for a second and ask or maybe answer some questions. If you've read the last paper and saw my article on the Sims 3, I asked if cars would be available to us, and really, if anything we got in an EP for Sims 2 would be available in Sims 3. It seems the answer to that may be a big yes! While it's been said that right now there is a car bug so the creators have disabled cars, I think its a definite possibility they will be up again in time for the release of the game. Not only cars, but downtown too! So that seems to have Nightlife taken care of. It also sounds like farming is a possibility and therefore we've got a part of Seasons with us as well!
The Sims 3 is less about needs and more about moods. Your sims will be happy because they made a friend or mad because they split up with their loved one. There are also traits you can use to describe your sim. Things like "evil", "genius", "perfectionist", etc. Why, the article even mentioned a sim kleptomaniac! This game will have plenty of things to explore.
As for the look of sims. The skin looks so real, their faces move more realistically, and you can know change the weight of your sims dramatically. There is a slider that will allow you to choose from endless weight possibilities. The range of facial features has improved and theres all new hair to choose from.
Of course, with all this new stuff to try out you'll need to upload your sims to theSims3.com. And trust me there will be plenty of sim ideas floating through your head. But is this really something we want? Parts of it look great, but is it a little too different from the original sims games? Only you can decide your feelings of the game, and I hope I've helped your decision making by giving you the facts. Next week you will see a new page! The opinions page, what more of a perfect topic to express your opinion then this matter? Send in your own opinion letter to WeAreSim@yahoo.com and tell others what you think!
